Reiki healing techniques can be done in person or from a distance. When one seeks a Reiki One-on-One healing, the Reiki Master (who has undergone formal training in this healing art) and the client interact with each other in person. A Reiki master uses gentle hand movements with the intention to guide the flow of positive life force energy through the client's body to reduce stress and promote healing.
